The Aikido Dojo is the largest and oldest traditional Aikido school in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area. The Dojo has over 50 active members with a wide variety of training backgrounds, including very senior instructors from other martial arts to absolute novices. We welcome all interested students regardless of age, size or gender.  Mature youth as young as 8 years old are welcome if their parents train with them.

The students at the Aikido Dojo – from the beginners to the black belts – are people just like you. They have families, careers, and real lives; they're not special athletes and were not born with a special gift or talent for martial arts. All of them started out as curious, unsure, even clumsy beginners. They are just normal people who have dedicated a part of their lives to the Warrior path - striving to improve themselves and unite spirit and body.

If you are interested in joining the Dojo, please stop by and speak to one of the instructors. Dojo dues are $75 per month for adults; discounts for families and minors are available. There is a startup fee of $35 to register the student with the national organization and pay for the first year's membership. There are no contracts; training at the Dojo relies on the interest and determination of the individual!
